AI Data Analysis for Feedback, Surveys and Operational Data

AI data analysis uses language models to read survey comments, complaints, tickets and tables at volume and turn them into counted themes and answers. Remolda sets up one analysis workflow in six weeks for $9,800 CAD + HST.

In short

  • Price: $9,800 CAD + HST for the six-week AI Pilot Sprint: one repeatable analysis workflow on your data.
  • Best fit: open-ended text in volume, such as survey comments, complaints, support tickets, call notes and consultation submissions.
  • Output: a theme list with counts and example quotes, trends over time, and answers to plain-language questions about your tables.
  • An analyst samples and checks the AI's coding before any report goes out. Every theme links back to source records.
  • Personal information is masked before analysis where the question allows it.

Your situation

AI analysis is worth setting up when the data exists but nobody has time to read it. Typical cases:

  • Thousands of survey comments. The scores get reported; the comments sit in a spreadsheet.
  • Complaints and tickets pile up. Management asks what people complain about most, and the answer is a guess.
  • Consultation or program feedback. A public body must show it read every submission.
  • Questions wait for the analyst. Managers need a number and join a queue.

What the analysis workflow produces

OutputWhat it answersCheck
Theme list with countsWhat people raise most oftenAnalyst reviews a coded sample
Example quotes per themeWhat they actually saidLinked to the source record
Trend by period or segmentWhat is growing or fadingSame categories each run
Sentiment by themeWhere frustration concentratesSpot-checked by a person

Structured metrics you already track belong on a Power BI dashboard. If the question is what will happen next, see predictive analytics.

What the AI Pilot Sprint includes

One dataset and one question set. For example, quarterly survey comments or weekly support tickets.

A category frame. Built from a sample with your team, then applied by the model at full volume.

A measured accuracy check. Human coding of a sample compared with the model's coding, reported with the results.

Masking and data handling. Personal information removed or documented before analysis.

A repeatable run. The workflow reruns on new data on your schedule, with the output in your report format.

How long it takes

Six weeks from kickoff. In our experience the usual split is two weeks for the export, masking and category frame, two weeks of runs and accuracy checks, and two weeks of live use. Data access approvals and the number of categories affect the schedule.

What it costs

The AI Pilot Sprint is $9,800 CAD + HST, fixed, for one workflow. Model usage is billed by the provider. Unsure which dataset would give the most value? The AI Opportunity Audit ($2,900) ranks the options and is credited toward the Sprint. Packages are on the pricing page.

Why Remolda for AI data analysis

  1. Accuracy is measured. You see how often the model agrees with a human coder.
  2. Every theme is traceable. Counts and quotes link back to records.
  3. Privacy handled first. Masking and documentation under Canadian privacy rules.
  4. Repeatable. The same frame runs every period, so trends compare like with like.
  5. English and French. Comments in both languages analysed in one frame.

How the work runs

The Sprint is the Implement step of the Remolda Cycle (Audit → Strategy → Implement → Empower → Evolve).

  1. Scope call. 30 minutes: dataset, questions, audience.
  2. Export and masking. Data prepared and documented.
  3. Frame and test. Categories built, accuracy measured.
  4. First report. Delivered with the accuracy figure.
  5. Review. Go / adjust / stop, then the workflow runs on schedule.

Frequently asked questions

What is AI data analysis?

It is the use of language models to read, code and summarize data that would take people weeks, mostly free text such as comments and tickets, and to answer questions about tables in plain language. The model does the reading; people check the method and the conclusions.

How much does AI data analysis cost?

The six-week AI Pilot Sprint is $9,800 CAD + HST and sets up one repeatable workflow, for example quarterly survey analysis or weekly complaint themes. Model usage is billed by the provider directly.

How accurate is AI coding of comments?

It depends on how clear the categories are and how the text is written. We measure it: an analyst codes a sample by hand, we compare it with the AI's coding and adjust instructions until agreement is acceptable to you. The figure is reported with the results.

Can staff ask questions about data in plain English or French?

Yes, for defined tables. The workflow translates the question into a query, runs it and shows both the answer and the query, so an analyst can check how the number was produced.

Do you need access to personal information?

Often names, emails and account numbers can be removed before analysis. Where they cannot, the data in scope and its handling are documented under PIPEDA or Quebec Law 25 before work starts.

How is this different from a dashboard?

A dashboard tracks known metrics from structured data. AI data analysis finds and counts themes in text and answers new questions. The resulting theme counts can feed a Power BI report.

How long does it take?

Six weeks from kickoff. In our experience, getting a clean export and agreeing on the categories take the first two weeks.
